Story/Frame/Assembly explores the internal dialogue and hardship surrounding loss in New York in 2020. The piece explores losing pivotal years in a dancer’s career due to the pandemic’s limitation on performance based work, grappling with leaving the city that these artists worked so hard to stay a float within, and the additional layers of grief left when the artform of dance disappears in a dancer’s life.
